Reports claim Arsenal are planning a bid for Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos and hopes to sign him in January.
The 28-year-old Spaniard’s contract with Real Madrid is due to expire in the summer of 2017 and sources claim he’s in no rush to sign a new contract with the club.
Sergio Ramos has been long-linked with the Gunners and Arsene Wenger has always admired the defender.
AS journalist Manuel Esteban Manolet has claimed that the French coach made efforts to seek Ramos’ availability for transfer through the player’s agent .
“Wenger has called Rene Ramos, the agent and brother of Sergio Ramos,” he said.
