Arsenal thrashed Nottingham Forest 5-0 on Sunday afternoon to return to the top of the English Premier League table.
Mikel Arteta’s side coasted to victory at the Emirates Stadium thanks to a brace from substitute Reiss Nelson and one each from Gabriel Martinelli, Thomas Partey and Martin Odegaard.
The resounding victory pushed the Gunners back to the top spot with 31 points, ahead of Manchester City.
It was the first time in four years that Arsenal won by five goals.
Nelson replaced Bukayo Saka, who suffered an ankle injury, in the 27th minute.
He had not played in the Premier League since August 2021 and last scored a goal in July 2020.

Martinelli opened the scoring in the fifth minute by heading home Saka’s cross and the first half ended without either team finding the back of the net again.
However, Nelson justified his substitution with two close-range goals in three minutes soon after the break.
Partey’s 57th-minute goal and Odegaard’s 78th-minute strike completed the rout.
