Arsenal could be interested in signing Lazio striker Miroslav Klose on a six-month loan deal as cover for Olivier Giroud, according to CaughtOffside.
The Gunners are desperately searching for a new signing upfront before the summer transfer window closes, and Arsene Wenger is now believed to have his sights on a short-term deal for the German veteran forward.
Klose, 36, was a star for his national side at this summer’s World Cup, scoring two goals to help his country to victory in the tournament, whilst also becoming the leading scorer in the history of the competition.
Arsenal have been linked with Klose in the past, and are now open to either signing him on loan for the first half of the season or on a permanent one-year deal for a fee of around £2m.
The former Bayern Munich man is in the final year of his contract at the Stadio Olimpico and could move for fairly cheap.
