The Hunter became the bushmeat in Katsina state after an armed robber was overpowered and subsequently arrested by his would-be victims.
The armed robber identified as 23 year old Jamil Sani ended his solo crime run in Katsina Prison following his arrest by his victim, Abdulrauf Musa.
The 23-year-old suspect, who was resident in Unguwar Tagwa village in the Dandume Local Government Area of Katsina State, had invaded Musa’s house at Kaura Pawa village in the same local government armed with a locally-made pistol.

In a commando style, Sani raided his victims’ house feeling empowered by his locally made weapon while he ordered his victim along with his family to surrender their money and other valuables.
As this was going on however, Musa the victim summoned courage and raised an alarm while he attacked his assailant who fled the scene in terror.
Sani was consequently pursued and overpowered and handed over to the police alongside his locally made weapon.
The failed armed robber is facing a three counts of house trespass, attempt to commit armed robbery and illegal possession of firearms, which are contrary to sections 2 and 3(1) of the Robbery and Firearms Special Provision Act, R11,LFN 2004 and Section 343 of the Penal Code.
The police prosecutor, Inspector Sani Ado, however told a senior magistrate court where Sani was arraigned for cognizance on Tuesday that police investigation regarding the incident was still in progress while he consequently pleaded for an adjournment.
The presiding magistrate, Hajiya Fadile Dikko, subsequently adjourned the case till November 28, 2018 for mention, and directed that Sani should be remanded in the prison custody till then.
There was no application for bail posted by the armed robber and he was subsequently remanded in Prison.
