The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus have only been available for less than a month, but there are rumors that the company intends to roll out new sets of smartphones next year.
According to Nikkei Asian Review, Apple will launch three iPhone models next year, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of the company’s flagship device.
All three iPhones — sporting 4.7-, 5- and 5.5-inch touch screens, will all feature glass backs, says the report.
Apple had used glass backs on earlier models of the iPhone before switching to aluminum back with the launch of the iPhone 5.
The tech giant is probably looking to boost the sales of the iPhone -which were down during Apple’s fourth fiscal quarter.
Apple also ended the fiscal year with its first decline in revenue since 2001 – despite the new releases.
Apple reported fourth-quarter iPhone shipments of 45.5 million, down 5% from the 48 million shipped a year ago.
