APC Treasurer Murdered by Gunmen in Ekiti

Tsav, former Benue Speaker, dumps PDP for APC

The treasurer of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Moses Adeoye, was murdered by Gunmen in his home.

Adeoye was reportedly having a meal when the assailants gained access into the house and shot the treasurer to death

The Police have launched an investigation into the matter confirming this through their Public Relations Officer in Ekiti, Caleb Ikechukwu

“The case has been reported to the police and our men have swung into action.

“We have started our investigation to make sure the perpetrators are arrested.

“We commiserate with his family and assure the people of Ekiti State that the police are on top of this matter.” Ikechukwu said.

Also reacting to the shocking news was the Public Relations Officer of the APC in Ekiti state who said the incident was a sad one.

“We have visited the family of the deceased. We are sending a petition to the police to unravel the cause of the death,” he said.

The governor of Ekiti state, Kayode Fayemi, who is a member of the APC, released a statement through his Chief Press Secretary, Yinka Odebode and asked the Police to make sure they bring the assailants to book.

Fayemi also said that his administration would work ceaselessly to bring an end to the spate of killings and assassinations in the state.
