Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of plotting to bring foreigners from Niger Republic and Chad to vote for President Muhammadu Buhari during the February 16 presidential election.
Fani-Kayode made this known in a Saturday tweet in reaction to the furore generated when two Niger Republic governors attended President Buhari’s campaign in Kano on Thursday.
The ex-minister, who is a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), said that the APC had betrayed its true intentions for the 2019 general elections with the presence of the Niger Republic governors of Zinder and Maradi at Buhari’s campaign.
He said that the ruling party was plotting to bring in underage peasants and “illegal aliens” to vote for Buhari.
Fani-Kayode said that such plots would fail woefully.
He said, “The same way they brought in two Governors from Niger Republic to be cheerleaders for Buhari at his Kano rally is the same way they intend to smuggle in an army of underage almajiris and illegal aliens from Niger Republic and Chad to “vote” for him. This time they will FAIL!”
