APC Mega rally after Kano, Jos killings act of insensitivity – PDP

Chief Olisa Metuh

The People’s Democratic Party has accused the All Progressives Congress of insensitivity for going ahead with a mega political rally in Ekiti, a day after a bomb explosion left scores dead in Jos, and only a few days after bombings took the lives of dozens in Kano.

Olisa Metuh accused the leadership of the APC of hypocrisy. It can be recalled that APC leadership blasted the PDP and its leadership for holding a rally in Kano under similar circumstances last month.

Metuh said, “APC remains hypocritical in the face of loss of lives caused by the insurgents”.

He said the APC only found its voice whenever there were bomb blasts in the country.

“This gives us concern and we are bringing it to the consciousness of Nigerians for them to judge,’’ he stressed.

He called on Nigerians to be vigilant against a campaign of misinformation and propaganda being waged by the APC in order to brainwash the hearts and minds of Nigerians ahead of the upcoming elections.

“APC is the major beneficiary of terrorism in this country. We stand by our statement that APC celebrates terrorism.

“We didn’t say APC bombed Nyanya, Kano or Jos. What we said is that APC by their actions and utterances, promote violence.

“If they do so, they cannot shy away from the fact that they fueled violence,” Metuh maintained.
