“APC Has Wasted Our Time” – Falae

3 Min Read
Falae

The National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Chief Olu Falae, has accused the All Progressives Congress government of President Muhammadu Buhari of wasting the time of Nigerians.

He added that the party has failed Nigerians woefully in all ramifications and should not be allowed to continue doing so after 2019.

He therefore pleaded with Nigerians to massively vote out the ruling party and replace it with the SDP during the 2019 general election.

Falae, who was represented by Chief Ebenezer Ikeyina, the National Vice Chairman, South East, stated this in Enugu, when the party unveiled its manifesto ahead of the 2019 general elections over the weekend.

He reiterated that Nigeria would be left in ruins should the APC be returned to power in 2019.

The opposition party boss accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) government of President Muhammadu Buhari of overseeing the killings of Nigerians and dividing the country along ethno-religious lines in its three years in office, more than any government in the history of the country.

He said that should Nigerians give SDP a chance, they will show that they are capable of moving the nation forward.

Speaking on the party manifesto, Falae said that it was designed to meet the aspirations of the people and restructure the country.

Similarly, he described anyone against the restructuring of the country as an enemy of Nigeria.

“If any person is not talking about restructuring, the person is an enemy of Nigeria,” he said.

Falae noted that despite the misrule of the APC, Nigeria remained a country to be proud of and the SDP would restore the country to its pride of place if given the opportunity by Nigerians.

Also speaking at the event, the Enugu State Chairman of SDP, John Nwobodo, noted, “Nigeria, today, is in a dire straits. We are at crossroads, puzzled and perplexed. We can get out of the doldrums of misery, penury, poverty and insecurity. Nigeria’s deliverance and salvation is in your hands, in my hands and our hands”.
