Following the successful raid of an apartment in Ikoyi area of Lagos by men of the anti-graft agency, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, a sum of $50 million was reported to have been recovered by the operatives.
The recovery however sparked reactions which majorly bordered on the owner of the apartment in which the loot was found.
Earlier reports alleged that the apartment belonged to a former NNPC Managing Director, Esther Nnamdi-Ogbue who was sacked from office.
Sahara Reporters has however reported that contrary to the earlier reports, the apartment allegedly belongs to the Peoples Democratic Chieftain, Anthony Anenih’s Daughter.
