Nigerian rapper Darlington Okoye, popularly known as Speed Darlington, recently took to his Instagram page to share a strong message directed towards women who frequently ask men for money to cover their transportation expenses. The artist, known for his hit track “Bangdadadang!”, expressed his opinion that women who resort to such behavior are lacking independence and self-sufficiency, suggesting that they do not have their lives in order.
In the video, Speed Darlington articulated his view that men generally do not hold women in high regard or respect those who cannot afford their own transportation. He firmly asserted that relying on men for transport money reflects poorly on a woman’s character and independence.
Using his own charismatic style, the rapper conveyed his point with the following words:
“Is it true or not? Any girl that will ask for transport money is a useless girl, is a girl that doesn’t have her life in order. How is a guy supposed to see you as something when transportation money you don’t even have? A man who doesn’t even have a place to sleep has no business starting a family, right? And that’s a belief shared across the whole planet. So the same principle applies to someone who can’t even afford transportation money; they are, in essence, a useless human being.”
