Any black who votes for Trump over me is not black – Joe Biden

Biden

Presumptive Democratic Party nominee in the 2020 Presidential election, Joe Biden got himself entangled in unnecessary squabble with a popular African-American radio host on Friday morning.

Appearing on Charlamagne Tha God’s The Breakfast Club in New York, the former Vice President appeared to suggest that black persons do not have a choice but to vote for him in the highly-anticipated November 2020 presidential polls.

Biden said, “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.”

The comment was regarded as a huge gaffe on a show highly regarded among African-Americans, with the show becoming an influential medium for 2020 Democratic presidential candidates to reach the black community,

Replying, the host said, “It don’t have nothing to do with Trump, it has to do with the fact — I want something for my community.”

When an aide to the presumptive nominee twice reminded the host their time was up, Charlamagne Tha God, who was critical of the candidate throughout the nomination process, fired back: “You can’t do that to black media!”

Biden is coming under intense pressure to pick a female African-American running mate to bolster his chances with both voting blocs.
