The latest chapter of HBO’s Game of Thrones is set to premier tomorrow.
It adapts material from A Feast for Crows and A Dance with Dragons, the fourth and fifth novels in George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series.
Filming for the fifth season began in July 2014 in Belfast and ended in December 2014.Locations in Northern Ireland included the cliff edge of Binevenagh Mountain.
Some of the scenes that take place in the principality of Dorne were filmed in Spain beginning in October 2014.
The fifth season adds previously recurring actors Diana Rigg (Olenna Tyrell), Dean-Charles Chapman (Tommen Baratheon), Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei), Michiel Huisman (Daario Naharis), Michael McElhatton (Roose Bolton), Indira Varma (Ellaria Sand), and Tom Wlaschiha (Jaqen H’ghar) to the series’ main cast.
