Pastor Tunde Bakare, fiery preacher and running mate to incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2011 presidential elections, has reiterated his support for the present administration’s anti-corruption war.
Bakare, who is also a lawyer, said that with the anti-corruption campaign the Buhari-led administration is only removing “logs that have fallen upon one another”.
However, he added it was high time the Federal Government came up with a concise and clear development plan for the country.
The Senior Pastor of the Latter Rain Assembly made these assertions on Thursday at the 2016 Obafemi Awolowo Birthday Commemorative Symposium which held at the Efunyela Hall of the late Yoruba leader’s residence in Ikenne-Remo in Ogun State.
The cleric added that however germane the war on corruption is to the success of this administration, it must not be the ultimate end, as the people are waiting for policies that will meaningfully impact their lives.
Also, he urged Nigerians to vote wisely in the next general election in the country.
