West Ham striker, Andy Carroll has been sent home from training by manager David Moyes after a heated argument ensued between them.
During a training session in West Ham’s Rush Green training ground, Andy Carroll could not hold in his agitation and displeasure for being an unused substitute in Saturday’s 1-4 loss to Manchester City during the weekend.
Andy Carroll must have been frustrated as he watched his team lose to Manchester City without being given the chance by Coach David Moyes to play during the match.
In an interview after the match, David Moyes said that he would “deal with” Carroll.
According to reports, the manager had wanted to discuss why Carroll left the bench to the changing room, but Carroll responded in a heated and furious manner which led Moyes to send him home so as not to disrupt the ongoing training.
He is expected to be fined 2 weeks wages and his outburst might affect his future inclusion in matches ahead.
Andy Carroll has made 8 starts and 16 appearances this season.
The former Liverpool striker is at the last year of his contract with West Ham and could see his chances of a renewal reduced due to his behaviour.
