The Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano, has declared war on pro-Biafra group, the Indigenous People of Biafra, its embattled leader, Nnamdi Kanu and its followers.
The state governor while speaking on Wednesday in Awka, the state capital, stated that he will deal with anyone who would want to cause commotion during the governorship election scheduled to hold on November 18 in the state.
Warning the Nnamdi Kanu-led group to steer clear of the state following a comment issued by the embattled IPOB leader who stated that he will start his Biafra revolution by claiming Anambra state, the state governor insisted that contrary to claims, there will be election in the state.
Threatening members of the pro-Biafra group to stay away or face the full wrath of the law, the state governor said: “We are going to go after them, we will deal with those who said there would be no election in the state decisively.
“People are free to vote candidates of their choice, you can see that in Anambra state today people now sleep with their two eyes closed.”
