A former Nigerian Ambassador to Spain and widow of the late Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, a Biafran warlord, Bianca, has issued stern warnings to the members of the pro-Biafra group, the Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB, over the forthcoming Anambra elections.
Recall that the leader of the group, Nnamdi Kanu, had threatened that the state’s Governorship election will not hold unless the federal government grants the referendum for the establishment of the sovereign state of Biafra.
In reaction to the threat, the widow of the former Biafran warlord warned the group against the call for the boycott of the state election.
The former Ambassador stated that the perpetrators of such act should begin the call in their home states and not in Anambra.
Bianca Ojukwu while speaking during the inauguration of the Akpokuodike Fan Club, in Awka, stated that the federal government has abandoned the state in terms of infrastructure.
She insisted that the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, political party remains the voice of the Ndigbo and thus should be supported.
Warning Nnamdi Kanu and his followers, Bianca Ojukwu stated: “Let them begin it in their home states. Why Anambra?. They better desist or have themselves to be blamed.”
