Suspected Nigerian internet fraudster, Hushpuppi has become the butt of jokes in America after his escapades exposed by Dubai police made it to popular US blog, World Star Hip Hop.
Recall that Hushpuppi, whose real name is Ramon Abass, and 12 of his alleged accomplices were arrested last week and a video of the arrest was posted to Twitter on Thursday by the Dubai Police Force.
The operation to nab the gang was codenamed, “Fox Hunt 2”.
The gang had allegedly committed scams amounting to 1.6 billion Dirham (N168 billion), leaving 1,924,600 victims.
13 luxury cars, estimated at 35 million Dirham (N3.7 billion), and other luxury items were recovered from the house where they were arrested.

Hushpuppi was known for regularly posting photos and videos of his luxurious lifestyle on Instagram, attracting praises from many adulating fans.
But reacting on World Star Hip Hop, many of the American commentators described the Instagram celebrity as unwise for flaunting and boasting about illegitimate wealth.
