American rapper, Yung Bleu has explained why he is seeking to sign a Nigerian artiste.
The 27-year-old artiste, whose real name is Jeremy Biddle, had taken to Twitter on Friday to urge his fans to recommend a talented Nigerian artiste he could sign.

In a follow-up tweet on Saturday, he disclosed that he has Nigerian roots.
Yung Bleu tweeted: “I’m seeing a lot of Nigerian artistes I really like. You’re not wasting time being active on my Instagram.
“We are looking & seeing hella dope artistes and producers, really talented. My dads said our ancestors are Nigerian that’s what sparked this mission for me.”

Born in Alabama, Yung Bleu signed for Columbia Records after a string of mixtapes he released popularised his name across Southern United States.
His 2020 single “You’re Mines Still” peaked at number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100 after it was remixed by Drake.
