The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malam refused to show up for a scheduled appearance before the Senate Committee on Legal Matters, Judiciary & Human Rights.
The appearance was to be a public inquiry into the case of alleged forgery of senate rules filed by Malami’s office against the Senate President Bukola Saraki, his deputy Ike Ekweremadu.
The official twitter handle of the Nigerian Senate confirmed this reporting that a senator, Senator Chukwuka Utazi, labelled it a slap on the face of the senate.
