Omo Ibo: Seyi Law slams Teni's critics

Prominent comedians such as Ali Baba, AY, Arole, Gordons, Tiwa Savage, Small Doctor and Simi will perform at the comedy tour being organised by Oluwaseyitan  Aletile known as Seyi Law on stage.

Seyi Law confirmed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Sunday, saying the  tour would hold in  different cities across the federation.

The award winning comedian said that the Seyi Law Fast and Funny Comedy Tour would  hold in Ibadan, Lagos , Port Harcourt and Abuja respectively.

“There is this belief that when you do entertainment, it must be a concert , inclusive of music and dance.”

He said that since the show did not have major sponsors yet, they would rely majorly on ticket sales with the hope of achieving some profit.

According to Aletile, the show business, especially,  comedy, is not too much of a profit-oriented business which makes artistes to look for new ways to be relevant.

“We are hoping for the best this time around because we look at the long term of having to do shows for people and still  being relevant.”

He said the show would be something entirely different and beautiful.

He said that the tour would also be used to launch emerging comedians into public limelight.

“We can only grow the industry with the support from each other and creating a platform for younger ones coming,” he said.

NAN reports that the comedian is  married and blessed with a beautiful baby, Chidera Tiwa Aletile whom  he described as everyone’s favourite.

“Tiwa is loved by many people and bringing her on stage will be an opportunity for everyone to see her in person.

“They are going to have a wonderful time with her, ” he said. (NAN)
