South African music act, AKA got more than what he bargained for recently while performing at a concert.

The artiste jumped into the crowd of enthusiastic fans, expecting to be caught in the air.

But this was not to be as the fans dodged, causing him to crash and land heavily on his head.

After falling awkwardly, AKA continued to perform, and many fans struggled to get a video recording and photo of him performing on the floor.

A video of the embarrassing incident is currently trending on social media.

Born Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, the 32-year-old rapper incurred the wrath of many Nigerians in September 2019 when he criticised Burna Boy for speaking out against renewed xenophobic attacks in South Africa.

The Nigerian artiste had vowed not to perform in South Africa until the government of that country did something to stop the violent attacks.

“I have not set foot in SA since 2017. And I will NOT EVER go to South Africa again for any reason until the SOUTH AFRICAN government wakes the f**k up and really performs A miracle because I don’t know how they can even possibly fix this,” he wrote on Twitter.

Reacting to Burna Boy’s threat, AKA said he was not needed in the country, which drew angry reactions from many Nigerians.
