Nigeria’s first lady, Aisha Buhari, during a two-day stakeholders meeting on Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn Child, Adolescent Health and Nutrition meeting, took a jab at the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, making a joke of his quest for leadership in the South-East.
Aisha stated that the absence of President Muhammadu Buhari, during his medical checkup abroad, led to the agitation by Kanu, who she said took advantage of the situation to attempt creating a state out of a state.
The first lady added that Nnamdi Kanu is a 40-year-old man still living with his father, whose thirst for power endangers the lives of its citizens.
She said, “As a result of spending several months by the President outside Nigeria, a 40-year-old man who was still living in his father’s house, created a state out of a state and that is a major set back for the country and the health sector did not benefit.”
