The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) on Thursday assured air travellers that the nation’s airports were fully ready for use, especially during the forthcoming Sallah celebration.

Mrs Henrietta Yakubu, the FAAN Acting General Manager, Corporate Affairs, gave the assurance in Lagos.
Yakubu said that airport security and other logistics had been upgraded and strengthened to provide for the expected increase in passenger traffic, in and around the airports.
“New directional display units have been provided to guide travellers, especially new ones, at our airports.
“Airport dos and don’ts banners have also been displayed at strategic locations to educate newcomers,” she said.
Yakubu advised the general public and intending travellers to make early preparations to enable them to complete the travel requirements in good time.
She said that FAAN was committed to providing water-tight security, guaranteed safety and improved facilities at the airports. (NAN)
