The Federal Ministry of Aviation has disclosed that 15 of 22 airports in Nigeria have taken delivery of top of the line explosives detectors, with the remaining seven soon to receive theirs.
The explosive detectors can screen for liquid and metal explosives.
Coordinating General Manager (Communications) for Aviation Parastatals, Mr. Yakubu Dati said the move was in line with the Federal Government’s efforts to boost security and safety at airports in the country.
