Super Eagles winger, Ahmed Musa has ceased to be the captain of the squad and has surrendered the captain’s band to John Mikel Obi.
The CSKA Moscow forward made the declaration on Thursday at a press conference ahead of the 2017 AFCON qualifier against Egypt in Kaduna.
The clash is fixed for Friday in Kaduna.

Musa was made captain by immediate-past Eagles’ coach, Sunday Oliseh, after a clash between the coach and erstwhile captain, Vincent Enyeama, which led to the retirement of the LOSC Lille goalkeeper from the national team.
