The war of words between former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode and the senator representing Kogi West senatorial district in the National Assembly, Sen. Dino Melaye has continued unabated after Fani-Kayode again took aim at the senator over his return to the PDP.
Fani-Kayode had stirred the hornet’s nest when he accused Melaye of being one of those who conspired to remove former President Goodluck Jonathan from office in 2015.
The ex-minister made the comment after Melaye announced his return to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in a viral Instagram video in which he called the party “home”.
However, Melaye had fired back, describing Fani-Kayode as having suffered from political blindness just like him.
The ex-minister briefly left the PDP to become a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) before returning in 2014 in time to become the head of media for the Jonathan campaign in 2015.
But taking to his Twitter handle on Sunday evening, Fani-Kayode again took aim at Melaye, accusing him of seeking a return to the PDP because of little persecution from the same persons he had dined and wined with.
