A young lady, Oluwakemi Soyebo, working as a sales agent with a company around Agbara area of Ogun State has been declared missing, after being unreachable for three days.
According to reports, the 22-year-old lady had closed from work on June 3, 2019, but did not get home nor inform her family members of any change of plans.
On the following day, her colleagues equally mentioned that she did not resume at work and no one had any information on her whereabouts.
Seeming distressed about the incident, Oluwakemi’s mother, Bukola Soyebo, explained that whenever she would not be able to make it home, she would call to notify her that she was staying over at her friend’s place.
Bukola told newsmen from Punch that she became worried because, since June 3, the young lady’s numbers had not been reachable.
She said, “My daughter went missing on her way from work; we thought that she was with her friend, whose place she usually slept whenever there was traffic and she could not come home.
“When such happened, she usually placed a call across to inform us that she would not be coming home because of the traffic and the friend in whose house she slept would speak to us, too.
“We have searched everywhere; her colleagues confirmed that she only works within the vicinity of where her company’s warehouse is in Agbara. Right now, her three telephone lines are unreachable.”
Although the matter had already been reported at Morogbo Police Station in the state, Bukola urged members of the public to assist with any information regarding the whereabouts of Oluwakemi.
