Conoil, a leading indigenous downstream oil and gas player in Nigeria has reportedly restricted oil and gas sales to only its mega stations.
The company which has about 20 mega stations in Lagos is only distributing PMS to other stations once a week amid increasing fuel station queues in the commercial capital of Lagos.
Sources from the company told our reporters that the Chairman of the company, Mike Adenuga is personally involved in approving which filling stations are kept wet by its fleet of tankers.
The return of queues and fuel shortages is as a result of over #52 billion owed major marketers by the Federal Government.
The Buhari administration is said to be discontinuing fuel subsidy programme and there is no clear signal from FG as to when the billions owed the marketers will be paid.
