Adele who rarely speaks so openly about her child and long-term boyfriend and her son’s father Simon Konecki has opened up about her son.
In a recent TV interview, she said ‘I think we [Simon and I] are doing a great job and I think we will do a great job. I’m very conscious of how much my life has changed and how much his childhood will be different to mine, but I haven’t changed.’
Adele also admitted during the interview that she had doubted whether she could be a success a third time around.
She said ‘I got really worried I would never make anything anyone liked again. ‘I was being self-critical of myself.’
‘Last time no one was waiting to work out what my songs meant.
‘I was so open about what the songs were about before. It hurt people’s feelings being so honest, and being a bit more immature than I am now I feel bad about it.’
She also opened up about her debut single Hometown Glory: ‘I find this song really emotional now because so much has happened since I wrote it. It’s one of my favourites now, to this day.’
