Photographed by Annie Leibovitz, the cover sees the 27-year-old British songstress sporting a beaded floral Burberry dress and Dior Fine Jewelry earrings with her ‘Angelo’ hand tattoo, dedicated to her three-year-old son, in full sight.
Her short locks are left down and pushed back, and her face looking fresh and spring-like with rosy cheeks, groomed brows, and just a hint of cat eyeliner.
Inside the magazine, the Grammy Award-winner speaks to Hamish Bowles about fame, family and “fabulous frocks.” She also speaks on “liking herself more than ever.”
“I feel so comfortable in my own skin,” she tells Bowles. “I really like how I look, I like who I am, I like everyone that I surround myself with.”
She continues, “Obviously I have insecurities, but they don’t hold me back.”
Speaking about being a parent, she says:
“I can’t have any other junk in my head to worry about as well,” she said of learning to prioritize as a mom. “[Angelo] makes me very proud of myself. When I became a parent, I felt like I was truly living. I had a purpose, where before I didn’t … My main thing is Mum, then it’s me, then it’s work. I think I had to take the right amount of time off to let people miss me.”
This marks the second time Adele has covered Vogue, with her first cover being the March 2012 issue.
