Nigerian artist, Adekunle Gold, has revealed that he is a one woman type of man, explaining that that is the concept behind a track off his last album, Catch Me If You Can.
The track, One Woman, where he featured American rapper, Ty Dollar $ign, portrays him as a man who would rather be with one woman than chase after multiple women.
We understand through this song that he is referring to Simi his wife, who he suggests through the song is enough for him.
In the interview, he explained that he is a shameless lover and realising that there are other men out there who are just like him, there is the need to celebrate them using the song.
He said “I just wanted to talk about how I’m a one woman type of guy and shameless lover man, just wanted to talk. And I feel like there’s still a few of us left in this world so let’s celebrate each other, you know, kind of”
In other news, Adekunle Gold is on fire by a supposed Burna Boy fan who on Twitter, accused the artist of imitating Burna Boy and attempting to be like the Grammy award winning artist.
the Burna Boy plagiarism is really so obvious and very annoying at this point. man can’t you just be yourself? same posture, same glasses, same smile. wtf ?! it’s been going on for awhile now and we need to speak on it. https://t.co/nFJCyloOTX
