Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has won a second term as governor of Adamawa State.

Fintiri was declared governor-elect on Tuesday by the Returning Officer after the collation of Saturday’s supplementary governorship election.

The Returning Officer said that the incumbent governor scored a total of 430,861 votes to defeat the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Aisha ‘Binani’ Dalhatu who got 396,788 votes.
