Reports from Premium Times indicates that Bindow through his Special Adviser Press and Media Affairs, Martins Dickson, termed the false allegation as wicked attempt to implicate him.

In his words: ‘’The information is not true and it is a malicious effort to conceal the good image and outstanding performance of governor Bindow as a strong anchor of the All Progressives Congress in Adamawa state.

‘’The peddlers of this malicious allegation are no more creative in their mischief that is why they have decided to garnish cheap lies.

‘’The commendable job of the APC under the leadership of Muhammadu Bindow is no doubt, very glaring that one would think that he will be engaged in any anti-party activity in the state of Adamawa’’. He said.

In the meantime, it was earlier announced that a number of commissioners, house of assembly members and some local government chairmen who are members of the ruling APC have massively decamped to the opposition PDP.

The national chairman of the PDP announced this during the rally of the one of the presidential aspirants, Atiku Abubakar.
