Nigerian actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande has vehemently denied allegations of having an affair with Senate President Godswill Akpabio. The rumors, which surfaced on social media, claimed that Dakore was one of Akpabio’s “side chicks.”
In a statement posted on her Instagram page, Dakore expressed her disappointment, shock, and outrage at the “wicked lie.” She stated that she has never met Akpabio and is happily married with two children. Dakore challenged anyone with evidence of her alleged affair to come forward, offering a reward of N5 million.
The actress emphasized that she is committed to her work and family, and will not accept attempts to tarnish her reputation. She warned that she is prepared to take legal action against those spreading the false allegations.
This denial comes after a viral report named Dakore among other female celebrities allegedly involved with Akpabio. The rumor has sparked controversy, with many calling for evidence to support the claims.
