Veteran Nollywood actor, Zack Orji is critically ill and cannot talk or walk, reports say.
The popular thespian is said to be currently receiving treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the National Hospital, Abuja.
The Herald learnt that the 63-year-old fell ill and collapsed in the toilet a few weeks ago.
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Joe Igbokwe confirmed the development in a Facebook post on Sunday.
“PLEASE PRAY FOR JACK ORJI,” Igbokwe wrote.
“Nollywood Actor Zack Orji in critical condition in the ICU of the National Hospital in Abuja.
“According to reports Orji can’t walk or talk, and all kinds of test is being run on him to ascertain what is wrong.
“He was rushed to the hospital two days ago after he slumped in the toilet after being quite weak for a few weeks.”
The director, producer and filmmaker is known for multiple roles in several Nollywood blockbusters, including Glamour Girls and Blood Money.
