An Abuja-based lawyer and counselor, Victor Ibeh, has taken to social media to announce he would be getting married to himself and has gone as far as sharing invitation cards for the event.
In what he termed as “Holy Sologamy”, Victor encouraged his friends to attend as he made the decision out of love.
The lawyer is known to have always campaigned for self-love online and will be the first Nigerian man to proceed with such a plan.
However, Sologamy is not a new phenomenon. It has been defined as when an individual decides to marry themselves and countries such as the United States of America, have recorded a good number of such cases in the past.
Victor’s followers later rolled in congratulatory messages after he made the announcement.
The wedding ceremony is set to hold in Abuja on August 11, 2019.
