Sportswear giant Adidas is reportedly planning to help Manchester United financially in there quest to sign Lionel Messi.

The Argentina international fuelled rumours that he was unsettled in Spain last week when he claimed that he is unsure where he will be playing football next year.
According to The Metro, Adidas, who secured a £750m deal to become United’s kit suppliers last year, will contribute to a £200m bid from the Red Devils for Messi, who is sponsored by the sportswear company.
