Winner of the recent Lagos State governorship debate and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Jimi Agbaje has promised to do better than the outgoing governor, Babatunde Fashola if he is elected into post.

While addressing Badagry residents at a townhall meeting held at the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria, ASCON, Agbaje said” For me, I am not saying that the Fashola government or the ruling party has not done well in the last 16 years, but we cannot say that in the last eight years, that what we have is a progressive government in power.”

He also added that he will pay minimum wage to civil servants in the state and he lamented that the state government has not been able to alleviate the lives of Lagosians.
