Agbaje Promises to Return Illegally Acquired Lands in Ibeju Lekki

Mr Jimi Agbaje, Lagos State Peoples Democratic Party Gubernatorial Candidate has promised to return illegally acquired lands in Ibeju Lekki to its owners if elected.

Agbaje who made this promise during a town hall meeting of people in the area at Eleko Beach Hall, Lagos said “Some of these lands were also acquired on the guise for industrialisation but ended up as private estates.”

He added that some of the lands acquired were converted to private property of some government officials including those ones designated as cemetery.

Agbaje promised Ibeju Lekki residents that he will fully utilise the aquatic nature of the area, he said “this will translate into an ocean economy that will transform the lives of the indigenes.”

On the issue of markets in the area, Agbaje assured the residents that he will create standard markets in the area to relieve the suffering of residents who have to travel a long distance to access modern markets.
