Global athletics brand, Nike have presented Christiano Ronaldo with personalized diamond-encrusted gold boots dubbed ‘Mercurial CR7 Rare Gold boot’.
Christiano Ronaldo, who is a brand ambassador for Nike has always worn customized football boots, but according to Nike, this football boot was designed specifically for the football star after winning his third Ballon d’Or award on Monday.
As a tribute to Cristiano Ronaldo’s work ethic, Nike explained the choice of the colour of the boots saying: The Mercurial CR7 Rare Gold boots is the first time in Nike history, micro-diamonds have been applied by hand to the CR7 logo of the boot. Gold was selected as the main colour on the boot because gold is earned.
