Arsene Wenger reached 400 wins in Premier League on Friday as Arsenal defeated Queens Park Rangers to climb over Spurs to sixth on the League table.

Wenger had earlier in the week charged the team to put on their best and utilize their Christmas and New Year fixtures so as to edge closer to the table leaders.

Their first goal came after waves and waves of attack, a brilliant heading from Alexis Sanchez was all it took to get on the lead.

Arsenal were later reduced to ten men after Giroud was sent off for headbutt on QPR’s Nedum Onuoha, however the visitors couldn’t penetrate the Gunners’ defense.

Tomas Rosicky doubled the lead for Arsenal and QPR scored a consolation goal 12 minutes later to then end of second half. Charlie Austin converted from the spot a Junior Hoilett penalty-kick.

Chelsea and Manchester United also won their matches and still maintain previous gap over Arsenal.
