Mr. Jonah Jang, Plateau State Governor has appointed his son, Yakubu as the state commissioner for lands and urban planning.
According to the Commissioner for Information, Mr. Mohammed Abubakar, the action was to allow for continuity in governance.
Yakubu was his father’s special adviser on special duties, now he will take over from Mr. Yilji Gomwalk, who has been selected as the running mate to the People’s Democratic Party governorship candidate, Mr. Gyang Pwajok for the 2015 gubernatorial election.
