The Nigerian health minister, Dr. Haliru Al-hassan has warned of a possible resurgence of the Ebola threat in the populous West African Nation as hundreds of thousands of Nigerians from across the diaspora return to the country for the Christmas holiday.
Al-hassan said Nigerians should continue to sustain the leadership role exemplified by President Goodluck Jonathan in tackling Ebola when it first surfaced in July.
The minister who spoke at the upgrading of Federal Medical Centre , Ido Ekiti, to a Federal Teaching Hospital said the Joint Health Staff Union (JOHESU) strike action could portend danger for the Nigerian health sector.
