It is quite hard not to notice that Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona key player Lionel Messi hardly get along.
The two have often competed for the same space, title and record and this have caused tension between them.
While many believe they are not in bad terms but only stick to exchanging greetings when they meet, there is a possibility of a long-time beef.
It was revealed this week that Ronaldo has an offensive nickname for Messi in Real Madrid’s dressing room, not long after the news broke the Portuguese is refuting the claim.
“This is absolutely false and I have assured my lawyer takes action to sue those responsible” Ronaldo wrote on Facebook.
“I have the utmost respect for all my professional colleagues, and Messi is obviously no exception.”
