Having Loic Remy pick up a groin injury which will keep him out of play for 2 weeks and an unfit Didier Drogba, Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho is strongly considering risking Diego Costa despite his injury problem after returning from Spain.
The Blues are left with Andre Schurrle to face Man U at Old Trafford and the odds are turning low.
Costa missed Chelsea’s matches againstĀ Crystal Palace and NK Maribo and supposedly, should miss Sunday’s clash with Manchester United.
Mourinho who is determined to keep their unbeaten record has vowed to fight for all three points against their league rivals.
“I don’t protect before a Man United game unless he cannot play,” Mourinho told news men.
“But, if there is a chance of play, Old Trafford is not a place to protect players. If he is ready to play, then he plays.
“He has to show [on Saturday] in the training session that he is capable. He has to train without any limitations – to make a complete training session with the other guys without any kind of protection.”
