Italian hunk Mario Balotelli was said to be having sex some hours before hitting the field of play, but the Liverpool striker laughed at such talks saying he “won’t be able to play” if he gets involved in pre-match sex.
The story had been making rounds and recently caught the attention of the 24-year-old striker who revealed to Sport that he doesn’t engage in such and that he is focused on playing for Liverpool.
Balotelli told Sport: “Someone told me recently that i had apparently said that if i have sex three or four hours before a game, it is working for me on the pitch.
“Trust me, if i am having sex for hours before a game, i am not able to play.
“I don’t think anyone could. It makes me laugh, but this is not me.”
Mario Balotelli moved to Liverpool from AC Milan in August, 2014 for a £16 million fee. His fiancée is Belgian model Fanny Neguesha
