Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has committed his future to Arsenal squashing rumours about a move to Bayern Munich.
The £42.5 milliom man has been linked with the German side in recent weeks despite suffering an injury that will keep him out of action till Christmas.
Ozil took to twitter to thank Arsenal fans for their support and said he looked forward to helping Arsenal in the future.
“I’ll come back on the pitch soon as I can to help #AFC. Now and in the future #MiaSanArsenal,” the tweet read.
It was reported that Ozil had become unhappy at the Emirates after being played in a variety of different positions by Arsene Wenger this season.
The German World Cup winner often found himself out on the left or right wing, rather than in his preferred No.10 role.
Bundesliga champions Munich were reportedly prepared to pay £30million for Ozil, which was supposed to pave the way for Sami Khedira’s predicted move from Real Madrid.
