Two promising Nigeria U-17 players Kelechi Iheanacho, 18, and Chidiebere Nwakali, 17, who both assisted the National team to lift the FIFA U-17 world cup for the fourth time last year are set for a loan move to Mechelen, a club in the Belgian League.
The two youngsters plays for Manchester City’s youth team and were part of the club’s pre-season tour in England earlier this year, but are yet to make it to the senior team.
According to reports from allnigeriasoccer.com , Iheanacho who has been training with MLS side Columbus Crew since the start of September has penned down a loan deal with Mechelen and will depart to Belgium upon approval of his visa request.
Simultaneously, his fellow National and club team mate Nwakali also signed a deal that will keep him on loan with the same club till January.
