Chelsea defender John Terry has shown that he is a real captain, and legend; both on the pitch, and in humanitarian actions.
The 33-year-old center back who since his four game ban for racially abusing Anton Ferdinand hasn’t done much to please Chelsea fans, redeemed himself as he showed his soft side to die hard Chelsea fan Louise Heaton.
Louise drew attention to the affection shown to her by Terry with a tweet on her Twitter account (@Ad0re_You).
She shared a photo along with the tweet which read “The true John Terry #CaptainLeaderLegend.”
I gathered that the England International had sent profound words of comfort and offered a signed match shirt to Louise who recently lost her mom.
“I sent him a message just to thank him, as he had previously wished me a happy birthday, letting him know how much it meant considering the circumstances,” Louise disclosed to The Independent.
“And that’s when he sent me the message and offered me a signed shirt,” she concluded.
